

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Qualified/Unqualified) to join our SEN department, supporting students with a range of additional needs both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will work closely with teaching staff to promote independence, remove barriers to learning, and help students thrive academically and socially. Working 1 day per week.
Key Responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate
· Positive, proactive, and patient, with a genuine interest in supporting young people
· Strong communication skills and good levels of literacy and numeracy
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience working with young people (in any setting)
· Knowledge of SEND or experience in schools is beneficial but not essential
· A good standard of education, G.C.S.E’s or equivalent, grade 4 or above in Mathematics and English
· NVQ, Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 3) or equivalent (for Qualified TA position only)

Hours of Work:
5 hours and 45 minutes per week at the following times: 9.00am – 3.10pm, 1 day per week
between Monday – Friday
The above hours include a 20-minute paid break (if working more than 4 hours per day) and a 25-minute unpaid lunch break, to be taken at times agreed with the Line Manager
