Are you passionate about science and looking to lead a dedicated technical team? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Science Technician (with a focus on Chemistry) to join our school. Our Science Faculty delivers a wide range of science courses from Key Stage 3 right through to A Level. You will play an key role in supporting practical science teaching by ensuring the safe preparation, maintenance and management of equipment and chemicals, and by leading a talented team of technicians.
The successful candidate will:
●Prepare and set up materials, equipment and resources
●Provide administrative and technical support to the Science Faculty
●Lead and manage the team of science technicians, providing guidance and support
●Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
●Work flexibly as part of an established team
●Meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure
●Candidates must live and work in the UK
