Faringdon Junior School has a vacancy for a permanent teacher to teach a Key Stage 2 class

 from September 2019 (start date 30.8.19).

 

Our school is located in the historic market town of Faringdon, in the Vale of White Horse, Oxfordshire.

Commuting to the school is easy and the position will be ideal for applicants living in the

surrounding popular towns and villages. This is an exciting time for Faringdon Junior School, as there are

plans for the school to become an all through primary school in the near future.

The school is part of the popular and successful Faringdon Academy of Schools and we

work closely with our primary partners.

Our recent OFSTED inspection (March ’18) was very positive and we maintained our GOOD rating.

 

We are looking for a passionate and driven Key Stage 2 Teacher to help strengthen our team. The successful candidate should be able to enthuse and inspire pupils, instil a love of learning and be passionate about class teaching in Key Stage 2. They will have the opportunity to work with very experienced, creative and talented colleagues including an accomplished musician and author.

 

The school is fully committed to professional development for all staff and this post would suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher. Faringdon Academy offers an extensive programme of professional development to teachers at all stages of their career from NQT, to those looking to develop middle and senior leadership skills.
