St Thomas Aquinas is a large and thriving 11-18 Catholic school where staff and students from all faiths live out the school mission and every member of the community feels valued and engaged. In November 2018 the school was judged to be ‘Good’ by OFSTED. In December 2023 the school was judged OUTSTANDING following a Section 48 Catholic School Inspection
Personal attributes
We are currently looking to expand our team of invigilators and are looking for efficient, flexible, and well organised people. These posts are casual contracts with hours and days varying according to needs of the school. We already have a group of experienced, friendly, and supportive invigilators who would help support you during the induction process.
Appointed invigilators will be responsible for supervising the main public examinations under the direction of the Examinations Officer. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but applicants should have good communication skills and be able to adhere to strict guidelines as set out by the Examination Boards.
Under the supervision of the Chief Invigilator, the role involves overseeing examinations, and ensuring that the guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examinations are followed.
There will be appropriate training for successful candidates.
