Science Technician
Part time, 25 hours per week, permanent, term time only (38 weeks per year). Monday - Friday 10.30am - 4pm with half an hour lunch
Supporting the teaching of science by preparing resources for use in practical science lessons, this is a varied and interesting role where every day is different.
Working with the Senior Science Technician and with Science teachers, your duties will include preparing equipment and chemicals for science lessons, ensuring they are ready at the propriate time and place, caring for plants, cleaning, tidying and storing items in the Science prep room, as required
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and willing person looking to join a friendly team and gain experience of working in a school environment. A good team player, you should be practical, well organised, flexible and have a willingness to learn. No experience of science necessary. An interest in Science would be helpful.
