This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of the Physical Education Department at Aylesbury UTC in order to support students to achieve the best possible outcomes. We would like to appoint a PE Teacher who is also able to teach a second ‘core’ subject. Applicants should indicate on their application form which other subject(s) they are able to teach.
Students join the school in Year 10 or Year 12 because they are passionate about following one of our specialisms – Computing / Digital or Health Care / Social Care. Our employer links, industry-standard facilities and determined focus on purposeful pathways for young people mean that Aylesbury UTC is an excellent place to make a difference. You will be well-supported by a strong team of professionals who always go the ‘extra mile’ for our young people.
Aylesbury UTC is a unique school offering the very best of technical education with outstanding links to our specialist employer sponsors. Our curriculum embraces the core subjects at Key Stage 4 coupled with an innovative focus on our specialisms which is then further developed into our Sixth Form.
This is a very happy and supportive environment, with great relationships throughout the school. We place an especially high value on the development of colleagues and have an extensive professional development programme. There are many opportunities for staff to work collaboratively across the school and our Trust (Merchant Taylors’ Oxfordshire Academy Trust) and the successful candidate will be encouraged to take these where appropriate.
All successful candidates will be subject to a child protection vetting process along with all other relevant employment checks.
