Salary: MPS - UPS - £28,000 - £43,685 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked). 

Working Pattern: This is a full time, permanent position working 1.0 FTE, 39 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and passionate Design Technology teacher to teach Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Experience teaching Textiles, Resistant Materials, Electronic and Graphics at Key Stage 3 would be desirable. There will be an opportunity to develop non examinable KS4 interventions that will support our alternative provision. Additionally experience of teaching Engineering Manufacture at Key Stage 4 would be advantageous. Strong subject knowledge, pupil-centred approach to learning and a passion for the subject are essential.

This is a full-time position, starting in September 2023 and is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Design Technology teacher or a newly qualified Design Technology teacher, to join our friendly and rapidly improving school in Barnstaple.
