Business Support Officer

Temporary position to start 1st May 2023 (or sooner if available) to cover maternity absence of 52 weeks.  

Salary: Scale Band F, Term Time Only    £24,986 pa (pro rata)

37 hours per week with 1/2 hour lunch break, plus two inset days

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Business Support Officer to cover maternity absence, who firmly believes that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can achieve excellent outcomes. The staff team are passionate about their work and support each other in their aim to provide the best for every child, every day. All enjoy their work and participate, wholeheartedly, in the professional culture that pervades.

The successful candidate will be someone who has experience of administrative duties and possess GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or an equivalent qualification).

We need a Business Support Officer who:

  • is highly effective (both written and verbal) at communicating with colleagues, parents, children and external professionals;
  • is able to market the school in a professional and effective way using various IT systems, twitter and website communications;
  • is able to work in a busy school office working alongside the office team and supporting the Senior Leadership Team;
  • is self-driven to improve;
  • is committed to making a positive difference to the school.
