Building Site Manager

36.5 per week, all year round

Monday-Friday Split Shift 6.45am to 11:00am and 2.30pm to 5.30pm

GR3 £23,194 - £29,439

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Site Manager to be responsible for the overall provision of security, janitorial & cleaning services, key holding and alarm responses. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a team of site staff plus the allocation and monitoring of the work of external contractors on site. The person appointed will be required to ensure that high standards of Safeguarding and Health and Safety are maintained at all times and therefore should have good working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures. They will have the ability to plan and undertake repairs and general maintenance to a high standard and take pride in their work and in the condition of the buildings and grounds. The successful candidate will be able to show initiative on all areas of site management. It is also expected that the person in this role is helpful, friendly, hardworking, willing and flexible in their approach to work. Relevant experience is essential.

The successful candidate will:

·         have high standards and take pride in their work

·         ensure the site is maintained to an excellent standard

·         be able to identify and prioritise their own workload, approaching all tasks with a “can do” attitude

·         have proven DIY and repair skills enabling maintenance tasks to be undertaken

·         undertake janitorial and cleaning services

·         be able to professionally engage with and manage external contractors

·         have an understanding of Health and Safety regulations and work within them (training will be provided)

·         have basic IT skills in order to use our online logging system
