Teacher of Learning Development

Starting January 2023

This is a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, with a passion for supporting pupils through their secondary education. They will be joining a highly-skilled Learning Development department with a strong reputation for outstanding care, guidance and support given to pupils of all abilities.

 

A degree in any specialism will be considered. Ideally, you will hold a specialist teaching certificate (SpLD – Dyslexia or equivalent) although applications are welcomed from experienced teachers without these qualifications, as training will be funded for suitable candidates.

Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for boys aged 11 to 18 and girls aged 16 to 18, welcoming girls into Year 7 from 2023. Situated in 45 acres of beautiful countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer an outstanding education based on small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff. All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the busy programme of co-curricular activities on offer.
