We are seeking to appoint an outstanding colleague to join our established team, working passionately towards our vision for sustained excellence. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in determining our vision for Inclusion, and the strategic development of SEND policy and provision in the school. They will also have day-to-day responsibility for the operation of SEND policy and coordination of specific provision made to support individual students with additional needs, including those who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP).  It is anticipated that the successful candidate will also be a key member of our safeguarding team, or will work very closely with that team to ensure the wellbeing of all students with additional needs.

This post provides the ideal opportunity for an excellent leader, with ambition and talent, to seek further promotion.  As the successful candidate you will make a major contribution to further improvement to our high standards of achievement, pastoral support, outcomes for all students in the school, and the development of our staff; in return, we will provide you with proactive support and preparation for a move to Deputy Headship. 

Bartholomew School is a highly successful, oversubscribed school situated in the heart of rural, West Oxfordshire. Rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2013, the school has continued to grow and flourish. It is a dynamic, vibrant community of over 1300 students, including a large Sixth Form.
