Queen Eleanor Primary Academy has served the community of Far Cotton since 1952. It is situated on the edge of the local recreation ground, just a short walk from Delapre Abbey. The school converted to an academy in September 2013, sponsored by Creative Education Trust. There are currently 235 pupils in the school, approximately 35% of whom are eligible for free school meals. Approximately half of the children speak English as an additional language. The school is a vibrant community where excellence, diversity and creativity are routinely celebrated.
