An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-organised, flexible and hardworking Data & SIMs Assistant to help manage and maintain the school data and management information system working alongside the Data Manager to ensure effective use of data to improve pupil attainment.

 

As part of the data team, you will be responsible for all aspects of school data management, supporting curriculum area leaders in setting up, running, interpreting and managing data reports including pre-empting any changes and developments that the school will need to make in the fields of data and MIS.

 

We are seeking someone who already possesses the skills below or has the willingness to learn them:

  • Knowledge of SIMS and data management within a secondary school setting

  • The ability to design and produce comprehensive reports, analyse complex data, demonstrate and disseminate data to others and have an understanding of school performance statistics

  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge and the ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality and be willing to actively seek to develop their own learning to enhance the service delivered.
