We are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dynamic leader to the post of Head of Centre at the Rise@GHC. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher of SEND to join the Garth Hill leadership team and play a lead role in the development of this important specialist provision in our community.

Rise@GHC is a specialist unit serving pupils aged 11-19 with autistic spectrum conditions living in Bracknell Forest and other local authorities. The centre is part of Garth Hill College, but operates in dedicated buildings within a fifteen-minute walk and three-minute drive of the main Garth Hill College site.

As Head of Centre, the appointed person will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Centre, and ensuring high quality provision and standards for all learners.

Garth Hill College was recently rated as ‘good' by Ofsted in May 2019. The inspectors commented on the determination and passion of staff to continue to develop the College.
We offer a positive, friendly and supportive atmosphere, a strong team ethos, a strong staff association and the very best programme of professional development together with opportunities for career development.
