Subject Support Partner: Secondary Science

The role

Subject Support Partners are members of RLT’s Central Team.  The focus of their role is to raise standards in secondary school science provision and outcomes in the Trust by providing support and added capacity to subject leaders and teachers working in our schools.  Please visit our website to learn more about us: https://riverlearningtrust.org/

 

If you are passionate about supporting teachers to provide quality science education, then this post is for you.  You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the Trust, researching, articulating and implementing best practice in our schools.  Working one or two days per week you will develop a close working relationship with colleagues across our schools.

The post holder will work closely with the Director of Education (Secondary), and there will be the opportunity to liaise with SSPs for other subjects in the Central Team. Recruiting to this role provides further capacity to enable us to deliver our vision so that working together within the Trust will deliver the best possible experience for our children and staff. 

This is an exciting time for the River Learning Trust. The Trust currently consists of six secondary schools including one newly opened Free School, fourteen primary schools, a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) provider and interest from other schools seeking to join us.
