    Job/Person Summary

We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic member of staff to join our administration team in the main school office.  You will be working from 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time and on staff training days.  We are looking for someone who will make visitors welcome and provide an excellent service to staff and families.  You will need to understand the need for confidentiality, as well as managing your workload in a busy office environment.

Duties will include:

  • First point of contact for parents, visitors and contractors
  • Producing and maintaining registers, evacuation reports and other associated documents.
  • Generating letters, emails, SMS and newsletters.
  • Responsible for maintaining the school website, adding documents / news and other information as required.
  • Ensuring that all pupil records are accurate and up to date including admissions and leavers.

  • Responsible for undertaking a variety of general administration to support the school’s Extended Care facility (Breakfast Club and Star Club).

  • Organise and book external and internal activity clubs

  • School trip bookings and administration
  • Day to day administration of childcare vouchers and parent pay.

  • Arranging and organising visits from the school nurse and other outside agencies when needed
