We are seeking to appoint a Sixth Form Guidance & Support Officer to join our sixth form team to help support our students.

The key purpose of the post is to provide day-to-day pastoral support, advice and guidance for students in the sixth form and promote their emotional well-being, engagement, and attendance throughout their time in the sixth form.

If you are a passionate supporter of young people and dedicated to the idea that all our students should reach their full potential, then we would like to hear from you. Experience and qualifications are important, but the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with young people from a variety of backgrounds is vital.

This is a non-teaching role but you will be in daily contact with students as you support their emotional well-being, engagement with the learning process, welfare and attendance.

Prince William School is located in Oundle, within easy commuting distance of Peterborough, Stamford, Huntingdon, Wellingborough, and Corby.  It is a vibrant and friendly school with enthusiastic, well-behaved students who are eager to achieve the best they can.  We have high expectations for all, and our aim is simple: to be the best school in Northamptonshire and beyond for every student, no matter what their ability or aspirations.

Prince William School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be subject to references, DBS and medical checks.
