The GORSE Academies Trust is looking to recruit an experienced IT Professional to lead our East Leeds Hub. The role of IT Hub manager provides the opportunity to work across multiple sites in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing remote and onsite support to both secondary and primary academies and a keen interest in leadership and line management. They will also have the ability to form strong and purposeful working relationships across their IT Estate and ensure that the technologies we implement secure the best possible outcome for students, whilst ensuring a secure and safe environment for learning.

The East Leeds Hub consists of John Smeaton Academy, Boston Spa Academy and Bardsey Primary Academy, this hub is a relatively new hub to GORSE with great opportunities to shape the direction and leadership of IT within these academies. The development of these academies will see ample opportunity for involvement and leadership in Capital Projects, IT Procurement and Infrastructure Replenishment. The successful candidate can feel confident that they will be working as part of a highly successful IT Provision across GORSE with additional support from a number of experienced hub managers, the Infrastructure and Development team and the central GORSE functions.

The hub is currently supported by 3 other IT Colleagues with a wealth of knowledge and skills pertinent to IT in Education, we value the experience and knowledge of our IT Professionals and have a number of opportunities for learning, development and accreditation as part of our standard working practices, ensuring continued growth within the organisation and securing a rich programme of continuous professional development.

Each IT Hub Manager will be expected to hold regular line management meetings with colleagues in their teams and ensure that they have regular face to face contact with key stakeholders on each site to ensure all academies experience outstanding levels of IT Support and strategic decision making.
