Do you have the passion and commitment to work as part of a team dedicated to achieving outstanding outcomes for all our students?

Are you looking for a post that gives you a real chance to make a big difference to the success of young people? If so we look forward to receiving your application.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to co-ordinate and oversee the school’s day to day operational functions, and to secure the delivery of effective value for money services and solutions across the school which facilitate the delivery of outstanding educational outcomes.

We are a values-led school that has a strong sense of purpose in delivering an inclusive education for students in our community, and are on a journey to becoming an outstanding school. With just over 1000 students on roll, we are one of the most oversubscribed schools in the area and are proud to say we are a truly inclusive school with much diversity to be celebrated. Our aim is to provide an excellent education for all the students at Stoke Park, and as Operations Manager you will contribute to our success by working with colleagues across a range of responsibilities, including admissions, cover, customer service, contract and risk management, and the management of the school estate.

You will have excellent communication, business planning and problem solving skills, with experience of successfully leading and developing a team of people, setting targets and monitoring performance. You will be qualified to degree level, and using your knowledge and understanding of operations management you will identify, evaluate and control risk, secure the efficient and effective use of resources and ensure the smooth and safe running of the school’s operational activities. You will be supported in your role by colleagues in school and from across The Futures Trust; the Trust is passionate about building brighter futures for the young people who attend its schools, and is a rapidly growing and successful Multi Academy Trust driven by a set of compelling values:

  1. Learners First – young people, staff, leaders, governors and trustees totally focused upon the educational benefit of our pupils and students within a safe and supportive environment
  2. It’s About Learning – young people, staff, leaders, governors and trustees totally focused upon developing and improving the learning of pupils and students underpinned by harmonious and trusting relationships
  3. No Barriers – no excuses, only support to ensure young people, staff, leaders, governors and trustees maximise the academic achievement of pupils and students whilst enabling them to develop and flourish as well rounded individuals

What makes us a good employer?

In addition to opportunities for professional development the Trust offers attractive reward and benefits packages including competitive rates of pay, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, 27 days annual leave rising to 32 days after 5 years’ service, childcare vouchers, online discount at retail, travel, theme park and other leisure providers, policies to support family and carer commitments, Occupational Health services and career pathways across the Trust.
