DEPUTY HEADTEACHER FOR RUSH COMMON SCHOOL

Are you a highly motivated and dedicated teacher ready for the next step in your career? You may already be a Deputy or Assistant Head, or maybe you’re a Senior Teacher who is looking for more responsibility and challenge. If so, we have just the role for you!

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our happy and popular school, where the children are at the centre of everything we do and standards and expectations are high. Having appointed a new Headteacher in February 2017, we are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher from September 2018. The role will focus on teaching and learning, assessment and the continued professional development of staff, as well as helping us to build on our recent successful Ofsted inspection.

There will be a minimum teaching commitment with this role.

We can offer you a friendly, happy place to work with motivated and engaged pupils who love learning; a welcoming staff; good support and many professional development opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to help to shape the future direction of our highly successful school.

The views of our children:

Rush Common School is great because teachers make lessons fun, there are lots of kind children here and our Values help us with our friendships.

The views of our staff:

This is a positive and nurturing school, our pupils have good manners and our staff are friendly and helpful. Professional development is good and there are lots of opportunities.

Rush Common School was judged to be good by Ofsted in January 2017.

Pupils are terrific advocates for their school, enthusing about a whole host of different aspects.”

Contact Mrs Kerrie Cox on 01235 533583 to arrange a visit to the school.

Please visit our website for further information http://rushcommonschool.org/ and an application pack.
