Are you an enthusiastic, experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working 1:1 supporting SEN children in a mainstream setting?  If so, Blackhorse Primary School is seeking a matrix funded Part-Time Teaching Assistant to work with a current Reception child with autism and social communication difficulties.

The hours for this post are 21.5 per week, term time only.  These hours will be spread across Monday-Friday and will be agreed at interview.

The successful candidate will require a good standard of general education, normally evidenced by 3 or more GCSEs (including Maths and English) at Grade C or above, or other equivalents.  Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is required and some vocational training/qualification in the care, development or education of children would be desirable.  Knowledge and experience of autism / speech and language /social interaction difficulties is essential.
